Saturday, October 24, 2015 I attended the Turley Cellars Pick Up (wine) Party. It was a beautiful day for great zinfandels, wonderful food, classic music and our terrific host, Larry Turley. From the library, we enjoyed 1998 Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel. Still absolutely delightful. Not so surprised that the 2013 Judge Bell Vineyard zinfandel from Amador county was outstanding! Pair that with the spit-roasted sturgeon served in cradles of pork rind and it was a perfect Saturday! Big yum!
